As Director of Business Development and Operations for Locaria, Hong’s remit will include the strategic development of the division’s operations and ongoing accounts, as well as overseeing the scaling of Locaria’s business model during an extended period of rapid growth.

On joining the agency, Hong said “Locaria provided an opportunity to bring my brand side understanding of ecommerce processes, multilingual campaigns and strategic brand expansion into emerging markets, and apply this across a range of verticals. The business is enjoying an exciting period of expansion and I will help to ensure that Locaria’s services scale efficiently and in a manner that best serves clients.”

Discussing her approach to international expansion, Hong said: “Cross border e-commerce has matured to a level where crudely translating your website is not enough.
