Kicking off 2019 with Year Here
Our amazing fundraising partners Year Here are kicking off 2019 with a bang, with their 8th cohort being released into the wild.
The Year Here Winter Crowdbacker is the live Crowdfunding event at the end of the postgraduate program, and is for the Fellows who are committed to founding a social venture that tackles tough social issues. On the night the newest ventures will pitch for 7 minutes and draw upon the support from the live crowd, leaving with seed funding and other expertise/support ready to launch into their first year!
Transform3D, Forward's philanthropic arm, will be out in force to support the Fellows, promising digital marketing expertise to the latest crop of ventures, who you can check out below. We are really excited and proud of this cohort and we cannot wait to support them in their quests as the next generation of changemakers!

Who are Year Here and why do we support them?
Year Here is a postgraduate incubator program with its mission grounded in tackling deep entrenched social problems. They are our very unique partners in the sense that we work with them in two ways: firstly, ventures launched out of the program go on to be supported by our amazing staff here at Forward3D as part of our philanthropy arm - Transform3D. We offer ventures digital marketing expertise through workshops and consultation projects, harness the talent and innovation of our agency to do some good along the way. Secondly they are our fundraising partner.
All the money we raise through our fundraising adventures and company wide socials, goes directly to the venture lab phase of the Year Here programme. This is the phase where Year Here Fellows work to iterate and prototype their venture ideas with real users, going on to pitch them at Crowdbacker for their initial seed funding to launch!
This approach and partnership aligns neatly with Forward3D’s own fail fast, agile work practice. We have designed our model with the social start up in mind and the funds will grow a steady stream of new ventures that Transform3D3D can support, providing plenty of opportunities for staff and a real variety of causes to get behind!
