Transform3D has taken the four-year legacy and learning of the Forward Foundation to build a sustainable model of philanthropy at Forward3D. It aims to unite the talent and innovation of our employees with the knowledge and passion of the non-profit world to support third sector organizations. We help non-profits to do what Forward3D does best; Always Teaching, Always Learning, Always Learning, Always Teaching.
Not only do we have a great impact on our business, but we also offer opportunities to improve their skills, gain cross-channel experience and do some good along the way.
We provide a tailored package of support designed with the social start-up in mind. We make use of the abundance of talent we have here at Forward3D to host everything from coding workshops, to digital marketing consultations, to student mentoring sessions that help young people gain technical skills.
Forward3D staff provide support, advice and industry insight to young people in the context of one-to-one mentoring sessions through our partnership with charity Career Ready and community comprehensive Haverstock Career Academy (HCA). We offer workplace visits, guru lectures and master classes, bringing the STEM Academy curriculum to life and providing staff with opportunities to share their own learning experiences with students.
We strive to support young, emerging organisations in order to have a huge impact on their work during their most vulnerable stages. We help equip them with the essential people and tools they need to grow.
Internally, we endeavour to build a positive team spirit, making working here a valuable experience when we’re away from our desks. Learning is a two-way process, and we like to help our staff progress by interacting with our partners first hand. For this reason, we give some of our team members the opportunity to work with our partners at their headquarters and from Aldgate
So far, well over 100 Forward3D staff have given their expertise and time to our partners. There are numerous ways in which staff can get involved across the three areas of mentoring, fundraising and expertise: working with young people or assisting social start ups with digital development and online marketing.
Our staff run half day workshops in our offices to help children to develop leadership qualities, and have co-designed a bespoke PPC training course for young adults to pick up digital marketing skills. There are always ways to get involved. From baking or clothes sales to sporting events and wider adventures; Transform3D is always open to staff suggestions.
